Terms of Service

These terms cover use of Affluence by brands, agencies and their staff. By using the product you agree to them.

What Affluence does

Affluence is software for running creator affiliate programmes: enrolling creators, issuing tracking codes, attributing orders and commission, measuring content, and — where the connection is enabled — launching and reporting on advertising against creator posts.

Your account

You are responsible for your credentials and for what people in your workspace do with them. Tell us promptly at security@runaffluence.com if you believe an account has been compromised.

Your data stays yours

You keep all rights in the data you put into Affluence and in the data we retrieve on your behalf from platforms you connect. You grant us only the licence needed to operate the product for you. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.

Merchant data protection terms

When Affluence processes creator, customer or storefront data on your behalf, you instruct us to process it only to provide and secure the product. You are responsible for having a lawful basis, giving required notices, configuring consent choices, and responding to the people whose programme or store data you control. We will use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, restrict personnel and subprocessors to the service purpose, assist with verified privacy requests, and delete or return personal data when the service ends except where law or the financial record requires retention.

You authorise the hosting and provider subprocessors identified in our Privacy Policy. We remain responsible for their use within Affluence and will notify workspace owners of a material change to that list.

Connected platforms

Connecting Shopify, TikTok, Meta or another platform means you confirm you are authorised to do so for that account. Your use of each platform’s data remains subject to that platform’s own terms, including TikTok’s Developer Terms of Service, and you must not use Affluence to do anything those terms forbid. We may suspend a connection if a platform requires it.

Affluence uses provider-hosted authorisation where the provider offers it. You can revoke a connection in Affluence or at the provider. Revocation stops new collection and destroys or invalidates usable credentials; financial, audit and hashed compliance receipts may remain for the periods stated in the Privacy Policy.

Money

Affluence is free to start and no Affluence platform-fee rate is more than 1.5%. When the matching campaign fee basis is active, the platform fee is 1.5% of attributed sales for sales-based commissions, 1.25% of provider-confirmed ad spend for ad-performance commissions, or 1.5% of flat-rate creator earnings for submissions, retainers and bonuses. Each fee applies only to its stated basis; Affluence does not combine those bases into a different rate.

Affluence platform fees are separate from agency commission, creator commission, creator payouts, payment-processing fees, taxes and charges imposed by Shopify, Meta, TikTok or another connected provider. Refunds and corrections are recorded as reversal entries rather than erasing the original fee history.

Creator and agency commission calculations use the order and rate data available to Affluence. You remain responsible for verifying what you actually owe and pay creators. Where a figure is derived rather than measured, the product labels it as such.

Acceptable use

Do not use Affluence to break the law, to infringe anyone’s rights, to send unsolicited messages, to scrape or resell platform data, or to attack the service or the platforms it connects to.

Availability

We work to keep Affluence available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Data retrieved from third-party platforms depends on those platforms and may be delayed, incomplete or withdrawn.

No warranty, and limits on liability

Affluence is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending it

You may stop using Affluence at any time and ask us to delete your workspace. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms, or where a connected platform requires it.

Changes

We will post changes on this page and email workspace owners about material ones. Continuing to use Affluence after a change means you accept it.
